When I first went to Hidden Worlds Cenotes Park, I didn't expect much. A zip line, some swimming maybe. Boy, was I wrong!
After taking a wild ride on a jungle buggy deep into the jungle, we arrived at the canopy zip line. There we met “Skinny” who explained about the activities and the order we should do them in. When I was strapped in and was climbing up, I was terrified. When it was my turn I held my breath, closed my eyes and...jumped!
Of course, when I landed, my first words were “can we do it again?”
Next came the rappel. Lowering yourself down into a 20-foot hole on a rope doesn't sound very inviting, but trust me, you'll love it! After zooming down (twice) on a zip line down into an underground lake it was time for snorkeling.
I had never been snorkeling before, so I was really excited. We learned how to put on the snorkels and masks, and then we jumped in. It was really amazing to see all the different colored fish and there were even a few bats on the ceiling.
When we came back outside, our final activity was the skycycle. When you get on, you bicycle up to the treetops. Its really fun because all you do is sit back and pedal.
I would recommend this park to anyone who likes all-natural amusement parks.
